Mary Fisher Garden Design has been creating innovative and beautiful gardens for over 10 years. We can find the potential in any outdoor space, no matter how problematic, and come up with a variety of functional solutions that meet our clients’ particular needs and desires. Our love and expert knowledge of plants inspire designs that are both visually dynamic and compatible with the unique microclimates of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mary Fisher is a Certified Member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) and currently serves on the local board of directors. She is also a qualified Bay-Friendly Landscape Design Professional. Mary earned a Certificate in Landscape Design from Merritt College, a BFA in Fine Arts from San Jose State University and worked many years as a professional graphic designer before transitioning to landscape design in the late 90s.

She currently teaches Landscape Design and Planting Design at Merritt College in Oakland, CA.
